We are seeking a new graduate or experienced compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team in Guelph clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns or questions.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
• Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address any client inquiries.
• Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• A passion for holistic health and wellness, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
